Established in 2002, Show Them We Care (STWC) is a non-profit organization founded by former Seattle Seahawk and Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steeler  Willie Williams and wife Melissa Williams. The foundation was created to be a network for progress in education and life skills. Its primary mission is to support and develop programs that create innovative solutions to educating adults and children in our communities. Changing communities from the inside out is the resounding declaration that STWC pledges.
The 2007 Fundraising Committee is seeking sponsorships for the 1st Annual STWC Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament to be held at Legends Golf Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC on June 24th of this year. This event has the potential to not only enrich the lives of so many who are in need, but also endorse businesses that support humanitarian causes.
While we are aware that there are countless charity golf tournaments requesting donations, the money raised through this event is invested in our own South Carolina communities. And being native South Carolinians, the Williams’ understand the importance and impact of giving back. Prior to the establishment of STWC Foundation, they provided assistance to numerous underprivileged families and  communities from their personal assets. Since 2001, the Williams’ have given an annual $5,000 academic scholarship to high school seniors preparing to enter college. It is their dream to help others. STWC is totally committed to building a strong network of community support as well as an organization that thrives on compassion and the capacity to uplift. We look forward to the day when STWC will become a viable resource for a multitude of adults and children and no one is turned away. Your sponsorships and donations will no doubt be critical to reaching that goal.
